The Maroondah Citizens Advice Bureau Inc. is the result of 42 years of service to the Ringwood and Croydon communities. It started as a telephone service answering queries from local residents of Maroondah needing direction with everyday problems from barking dogs to financial problems.

Today, the Maroondah Citizens Advice Bureau continues to meet the needs of the community through providing confidential, free, independent and impartial information, as well as emergency relief in the form of food and material aid.
MCABI is a member of Community Information Victoria (CIVic).
The Maroondah Citizens Advice Bureau is a not-for-profit agency, which receives administrative funding by the Maroondah City Council and generous donations from local religious based organisations and private citizens.
