October training – EACH victims assistance and counselling

The service is to help clients recover from the impact of a crime against them , e.g. burglary, assault, rape or domestic violence.
Assistance can be practical, from changing locks after a burglary to relocation costs in the case of domestic violence or supportive as in court cases and invasive assault.
Clients can be helped at home, in hospital or other places apart from EACH and see only one support worker throughout the duration of their case. Waiting lists are kept to a minimum.
To be eligible to receive assistance from the service
- the crime must be against the person
- happened in Victoria
- happened within the last two years
- has been reported to the police
- the person lives in the Maroondah local government area.
